Lessons Learned

  1. Hello Kent, this reminds me our first president Masaryk. He participated few first lessons of given subject at school and when the teacher just told students facts he could learn from books, then he stopped attending and better spent his time in library or doing other (for him) meaningful things. By the way, Masaryk admired American democracy at that time (beginning of 20th century). He then, after elected our first president after WWI, applied some of the ideas here in Czechoslovakia. He married to Charlotte Garrigue - American-born woman - not just because she was pretty but also because she was well educated, they shared same ideas and liked to talk to each other. Some people are really inspiring. Well, that is the reason I read your blog : )
