That's great and looks new! I find it wild these machines are 100+ years old. I still think of the beginning of the 20th century as old, but not *that* old. But here they are, still doing their job. What machines from now will still be doing their job in 100 years from now?
Well done! I too have found that this can be a good DYI solution, although nothing is quite like a complete replacement of the rubber. The shrink tubing will tend to show the impact of typing, in my experience.
