I purchased an Aerostich suit many years ago. Not because I was a road warrior like those riders featured in Aerostich's catalog, but because I wanted to commute year-round via my motorcycle here in the Pacific Northwest. My riding days have all but come to an end, but I can attest to how incredibly well that suit worked. I won't part with the suit until I've sold the motorcycle.
There used to be some very entertaining videos out on YouTube featuring the Aerostich suit. One of which showed an Aerostich employee riding from their headquarters over to Lake Superior where he was completely doused by waves. He then rode back and removed the suit showing that he was still completely dry underneath. Another video was shot by an Aerostich customer who took his motorcycle through one of those automated car washes while donning his riding suit. After coming out of the car wash he revealed that he was still dry underneath the suit. I also recall that the Aerostich catalogs were almost as impressive as the riding suits themselves.
