Sounds familiar. While I have purchased just one Eagles album over the years, I own a quite a bit of Walsh’s music. For me Joe is a great guitarist first and foremost. In addition to his solo efforts which I enjoy for the reasons you’ve mentioned, I also really like his work with The James Gang and have a number of their albums as well.
