Meet the Man Who May Give India Its First Ever Typewriter Museum

My friend Bob sent me a link to this video. It's very good & captures the enthusiasm some of us have for these old machines.

  1. That was wonderful. I see that passion to a degree here too. Not just in the typo sphere, but in everyday life. When I talk of my typewriters at work, folks show and express their curiosity. When I visit my service guy, I sometimes meet people new to the experience. They are such a delight to chat with.

    Viva la revolution.

  3. Thanks, I love this and will spread it further! It's good to see that the worldwide typewriter revival has landed squarely in India, where the typewriter still hasn't completely died as a business tool. I enjoyed seeing Tom Hanks' book on the desk of this handsome and enthusiastic expert. The climate and conditions in India really beat up the typewriters, but he is repainting them nicely.
