Long before I was into typewriters, I refurbished vintage sewing machines. The hobby gave me a head start into instant typewriter mechanic. I'm a high-school science teacher, and during the summers I sometimes feel a little sad voids from not working. Then I go do something fun and forget all about it. :-)
