"It's yesterday once more", perhaps ? Or "Those were the days, my friend... ". Or, "the old order changeth ...". One can understand and sympathize. I listen to songs in a different language (ie not English), and the same state prevails there too. Perhaps more so. It is interesting to speculate on why this may be so.
