carrots are not really good food for bunnies, nor do bunnies really like carrots. if you want bunnies happy - try bananas, watermelons and apples. they also like dandelions and just spring mix salad is a great healthy option for buns.
Hmmm. Not sure what the squirrels do in the early hours of the morning. But our "squirrel-less" feeder hangs from a kevlon string from our tree. All birds. I feed the squirrles pumpkin seeds.
