Most veggies and spill over seeds are not healthy food for the bunny. Best bet is to buy spring salad mix in the store, bunnies love spring salad mix and squirrels and birds are not interested in it.
Since the snow is anyway almost at the top of the sand-cherry tree, one option may be to heap more snow on it and bury it fully. Hopefully, the bunny will not burrow its way to the branch tip.
Or maybe place a wire basket over the branch ?
Some more tempting eats may be an additional insurance and a "win win" option.
