Hi Kent, the bike looks great. I did not know there exists cog you can directly mount onto the multispeed hub. How did you deal with the chainline, please? Any washers there? I am curious as having an old spare bike and wanted to convert it into fixie but thought I would need some singlespeed hub... Thank you for your posts! Jan

My Schwinn is old enough that it came with a freewheel instead of a freehub. I did have to move a big spacer from the drive side to the non-drive side and re-center and re-dish the wheel. There were just enough threads on the spokes to make this work. Finally, the cog is locktited in place and I am still using two brakes since I don't have a lockring on the cog.
