So heartening and what a lovely tribute to your friend. I recently bought a bicycle on (somewhat) an impulse; I haven't been on a bike in a dozen years and moved to a hillier place. Now I've got gears and I'm getting back into it. I always thought moving was the best thing for all of us. And cycling places you need to be? There's nothing better.
